Breeding conditions:

Two inhabited dens of Arctic Foxes with signs of presence of juveniles were found 6 km from each other on the river bank. Wings of waterfowl prevailed in food remains near dens. Reproductive success of geese was high as 2-3 broods with 3-5 chicks in each were recorded per 1 km of the river. Approximately 3-5 thousand Dunlins were seen on 29.07 on mud flats of Anadyr reach.

Rodent dynamics:

Signs of lemming activities were not observed, but small isolated colonies of voles were found along margins of depressions.
